First released in December of 2004 in Japan, the original Sony PSP (PlayStation Portable) took North America by storm in March of 2005.
As the most powerful hand-held gaming console at the time, the original Sony PSP 1000 (also known as the PSP Fat) quickly became a favorite and a must have for both casual and serious gamers everywhere.
